Our race officially begins tomorrow and we couldn't be more excited! Tomorrow is being called a "time trial" and it will be all around Grand Rapids. Early Friday afternoon we fly from Grand Rapids to Las Vegas where all the real excitement will begin.
We had an informational meeting this morning and learned a little more about what is going on exactly, although we obviously can't know too much. We do now know the exact days we will be where, including some things that we will be doing for sure, including Camelback Mountain in Phoenix (which I hiked this past September), Gas Lamp Quarters and the San Diego Zoo in San Diego, Bosla Chica/Huntington Beach in Los Angeles, and Crystal River and Ybor City in Florida.

That blog will be shared by everyone, so you can hear what other teams are up to as well, and we will contribute on that blog too.
Oh, and we both have cameras and a video camera that we have to take with us, so watch for pictures soon!
